Pricing

The initial consultation is free of charge, and I will give you a ballpark figure for your chosen design at the time of consultation, roughly based on square footage & design concept. Please note that this is not a quote. Pricing is calculated using a complicated formula derived from the number of pieces, the complexity of the design, whether it involves any staining/etching etc, and whether handmade glass is requested.

As a basic guide, prices can start from as little as £30 per square foot for traditional leaded light panels, but experience has shown that for a design such as that shown on the right, £100 per square foot is generally a more realistic starting point.

The design fee is payable in advance, and again depends on the complexity of your chosen design and the amount of art work involved (if any), but as a rough guide will be in the region of 15% of the total cost. This is deducted from the total cost of the commission if you decide to proceed.

Prior to commencement of build I will require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the remaining price to cover the cost of materials, the remainder to be paid on delivery.

I regret I am unable to take credit/debit cards. Payment terms are either by cash or cheque.

Quotes are valid for 90 days from the date of quotation.
