Commissions

Commissions for domestic or commercial applications are welcomed.
I will work with your architect, carpenter, glazier, or interior designer in order to create the perfect solution for your specific situation.

Initial Consultation

The process starts with the initial consultation, usually at your premises, to discuss your requirements. I will bring along pattern books to assist with design ideas and a comprehensive selection of glass samples. It is helpful if you can have any ideas about design & colour scheme to hand, but if you are unsure of exactly what you want I am happy to provide objective guidance, taking ideas from your surroundings in order to produce a result that is sympathetic with your environment.

If you decide to proceed based on our initial discussions, I will need to take photographs and detailed measurements and/or templates of the windows to be made. This can be a time-consuming activity, so please allow 3 hours for the initial consultation to cover this.

Design

Following on from the consultation I will provide you with detailed, full-colour designs, superimposed on photographs of your living space in order to give you an idea of what the final result will look like in situ. Please be aware that it isn’t possible to faithfully represent the changing colours & textures of glass in various lighting conditions, and that the finished result will be much more vibrant than any paper or electronic image.

At this stage I will also provide you with a precise quote for your windows/panels.

Build

Once I have the go-ahead from you to proceed, I will start the build process. This may take some time depending on your chosen design and size of panel. I also recommend that the finished panels are allowed to cure for two weeks prior to installation.

Installation

Installation is not included in the price. I am happy for you to use your own glazier, or alternatively will organize the services of one for you.
